Countdown to skiing/boarding with the Bellevue
Ski School in January! Bellevue ski school is starting on January 9th, (Two 4 weeks sessions or an 8 week session)
and will continue through March 6th. Sign up for this great ski and board program!
Bellevue Ski School is the district-sponsored snow-sports program for 2nd through 12th grade students.
Saturday lessons and transportation is offered for 8 weeks from January 9th through March 6th, with a holiday
on Saturday, February 13th. A 4-week session is available from January 9th through January 30th.
Elementary students will be picked up and returned to Phantom Lake Elementary School.
Middle and High school students will be picked up and returned to Tillicum Middle School.
Early Registration Ends December 1st; Registration Ends December 15th.

Bellevue School District's fourth annual Education Roadshow,
The Road Ahead: Understanding 21st Century Schools, will be Wednesday evening, January 20, 2010 at Sammamish High School.
At 6:00PM, a District sponsored Resource Fair will present information on an array of no-cost programs and services
available to students and parents. At 7:00 PM Guest speakers: John Deasy and Amalia Cudeiro.
Deputy Director of Education for the Gates Foundation, Dr. John Deasy, will discuss how schools across America are
working to close the achievement gap. Bellevue Schools Superintendent, Dr. Amalia Cudeiro, will discuss the challenges
and training strategies being used in our own schools. At 8:00PM Breakout sessions on related topics will be offered
for parents, teachers and community members.
